I'm so sorry for the lack of posting. Things are just getting out of hands and now Christmas is just around the corner!! 

I'm so excited cause I'M GOING MALAYSIA AND JAPAN!

so My Sweethearts Bakery will be taking a break from Nov 2009- middle of Jan 2010. I just can't wait :)

This cake is themed on hearts with the colors black and white. The design was supplied by the bride herself. Each tier consist of different cake flavors, mud choc, mud white choc and butter vanilla cake. She also have cupcakes to compliment with the cake but unfortunately i do not have any pictures of them. Perhaps, later i will contact the bride to see if i could get some better pictures of the cakes and a testimonial from her :)

UPDATES* I am starting a something new in compliment with Sharon Wee Creations and  My Sweethearts Bakery. I cannot reveal what it is and the pictures now, but it will be up and running by Feb 2010. I'm so excited to be able to work once again with Sharon and this will be our ongoing event. Wish us luck! and i shall post them next year. Till then, i will try to post updates as often as possible.

I've been spending so much time working on model cake and i think this will be the last for another few months or so. I once saw this design online white searching for inspirations and i really wants to thank the person who made this design. If I'm not mistaken, i found the picture on Style Me Pretty.

I will now be working more on dessert tables and hopefully this weekend i will be able to finish my first project! Wish me luck :)

I call this a black and white beauty. The color reminds me very much of elegance and posh.

This cake and design took me and JN (my little Santa's helper) a good couple of hours trying to put the 3D flowers together. Our first batch of flowers failed miserably but luckily our 2nd attempt sustained. :P

Thanks to JN's delicate fingers , we manage to put the petals together without them falling apart. Every time i touch it, it just goes "YIKES!" I just had no luck with them. 

Coming next will be a corset cake  so wish me luck!

G'Morning Readers!

I'm up early today. I just realized that it is SUNDAY!! YAY!!

I've been having days off since Friday and it feels sooooooo good. Given that i've been very busy during the week with work, cakes, events........ *groans* but now its all good.

Since its my day off, i can do whatever i please *big smile*. Actually more like picking up things where i left off. Eg: my cupcake stand! 

I've been wanting to complete it but things just get in the way! You know, when you want to do something and then when you're about to start you find out something else more pressing that needs your immediate attention?? (like the burning cakes in the oven! yikes!)

Yea, i've been putting off this cupcake stand project for about 3 months or so now. I finally got my lazy bum started on it and ta-dah! 

I love it, the frills and ribbons and wrapping paper.

Although it is a little too black for my liking but hey, there're always more boards to cover :)

Now that this is done, I'm off to organize my whole entire external drive.

(another chore that i've been putting off.)

Hello Hello!

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty full on, had a friend's wedding and my boyfriends birthday. Mad 36 hours~ Anyways i somehow found time to make my first attempt cupcake stand! It turned out pretty well, hopefully it'll hold the cupcakes securely~ :)

I had a little shopping spree today and wheel and barrow. Bought myself a cute baby pink set of apron, oven glove and some dish cloth. It was so adorable that i couldn't help resisting! There goes my credit card bill again :o
